A beautiful property which was built decades ago and renovated in the recent past. Hotel is nice, about 10 min drive away from the centre of Inverness city. It is beautifully located in a picturesque locality. has a very nice large lounge. Ample free parking was a bonus. Rooms were big, airy, bright and comfortable for our family of 4. Breakfast spread was limited but definitely enough. A big shout out to the efficient ladies at the breakfast who ensured that we had made to order eggs, pancakes and also vegan sausages for my mother. It is a good property for wedding events and other gatherings with a golf course right next door. Some of the historic sites are a short drive away.

Location good, we had our dog with us as well, thought £15 a night was bit over what we have had from other Hotels . room was very comfortable plenty of space and good seating area seating area We had breakfast each day in lounge area which was good apart as low tables was bit uncomfortable trying to eat cooked breakfast. My daughter had booked Afternoon Tea for my birthday there was 5 of us which was good but my two teenage granddaughters don’t drink tea or coffee but we’re not offered any other choice each got glass of water.

Our bedroom was spacious and well appointed, as was the bathroom which had a stand-alone shower and a bath. Breakfast was very good, we have stayed at many hotels in Inverness recently and let down in this area by most of them with overcrowded breakfast dining rooms and poor quality food. This was on another level, food made to order and obviously decent quality ingredients and someone that knew what they were doing in the kitchen. We will definitely stay here next time!

Dinner was very good with a nice touch of my dessert plate decorated in recognition of our 45th anniversary. I was shown the beautiful,spacious and well equipped accessible rooms and have recommended Drumossie to my wheelchair using disabled friends after being.

Staff were lovely, bar supervisor was great and knew a fair amount about whisky which was a great help. Meals in the restaurant were good, choice was limited enough to not be overwhelmed.
